 |
 |
 |
healthMATRIX™ is a health
registry application that enables providers,
administrators, and staff the ability to quickly
view statistical data about their patient
population. Measures can be based on an unlimited
number of standards like NCQA, PQRI or even custom.
What are the features and benefits of healthMATRIX
from a provider’s perspective? |

1. Web
Browser Interface
Easy to use secure access from most
anywhere. |

2. Get an edge on
pay-for-performance initiatives
No waiting until the end of a
reporting period to see update-to-date statistics on
required measures. End of period reporting means it
is too late to take action on gaps in care.
healthMATRIX provides easy access to up-to-date
statistics whenever you want it. For example, you
may want to know what percentage of your patient
population is diabetic. How many of them have had an
HgbA1c within the past 12 months? If you are
participating in a P4P initiative, wouldn’t it be
better to know these numbers early in the reporting
period than later? |

4.
Longitudinal View
You can drill down to a single
patient’s chart summary view from a report listing
multiple patients. For instance, suppose a patient
unexpectedly appeared on a report and you wanted to
quickly see their history of office visits,
flow-sheet values, meds and more. |

5.
Actionable Reporting
healthMATRIX isn’t just a
powerful reporting application. It provides tools to
take action based on reporting results. For example,
if a report presents you with a list of patients
that need an office visit, a mail merge letter can
be created automatically and include the reason for
the visit request. Other actionable options include
secure email messaging, automated phone dialing and
data exporting. Once an action has been taken, the
patient’s EMR record can be automatically updated.

Criteria Link
This feature allows you to instantly
view the logic for all measures. The application
converts confusing computer program statements to
easy to understand terms. For example, suppose you
want to know the criteria used for Fluvax Contra
Removed measure. A single click of the mouse will
reveal something the screen below: |

Historical Trending
Historical trending charts are very
flexible and can be used to show multiple measures
for multiple providers or even single measures for a
single provider. |

8.
Grouping
Reports can be based on a single
provider or groups of providers. You can have an
unlimited number of groups and providers can be
members of more than one group. For example, you may
want to see reports based on all providers at a
single location or on a specialty or even across an
entire large network of providers.
