Blood Drive to be held at Meridios, Ltd |

Meridios, Ltd has teamed up the American Red Cross to host a blood drive on Tuesday, June 15 in Coshocton, Ohio. To be held from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Meridios offices at 545 Main Street in downtown Coshocton, persons may call Meridios in advance to schedule an appointment. Walk-in appointments accepted until 2:00 p.m.
“Every day in Central Ohio approximately 650 blood donors are required to keep up with the needs of patients at area hospitals,” said Rodney Wilson, communications manager for the Central Ohio Blood Services Region of the American Red Cross. Blood donations typically begin to decline as temperatures rise. Already this spring the Red Cross has seen a decrease in donations, receiving 5 to 10 percent below the daily need. “For those who have never given blood before, spring is the perfect time to start giving life,” said Wilson.

Meridios, Ltd receives Electronic Prescribing (eRx) qualified registry status |

Meridios, Ltd received official notification from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) that it has earned approval as an Electronic Prescribing (eRx) qualified registry. The Meridios
healthMATRIX™ health registry and disease management application now includes the qualified eRx measure and will be able to submit for 2010.
Electronic Prescribing Incentive Program (eRx) is currently a voluntary CMS reporting program that provides a 2% incentive payment to physicians and other eligible professionals. To be considered qualified for the 2010 eRx Incentive Program, at least 25 unique electronic prescribing events with the eRx measure must be reported during 2010. And, at least 10% of Medicare Part B covered services must be made up of codes that appear in the denominator of the eRx measure. To participate in the Electronic Prescribing Incentive Program, the eRx measure must be submitted to CMS by a qualified eRx system, such as
healthMATRIX™.

TeleVox is a Healthcare Communication software company that will give Meridios, Ltd clients another tool to improve communications with their patients. With the TeleVox software HouseCalls®,
providers can schedule appointment reminders,

Ltd. successfully submitted PQRI data to the Center for Medicare Services (CMS) for over 300 providers. Data was compiled and aggregated from 6 different multispecialty healthcare organizations across the nation. Some of our clients were paying large submission fees to vendros or not able to submit at all, but with the help of Meridios they were able to successfully submit PQRI data through
